Sumo fever hit Paris as fans packed the 15,000-seat Accor Arena for a sold-out exhibition tournament, marking the first Paris sumo event in 31 years.

The crowd brought the energy all weekend as Yokozuna Hoshoryu won Sunday’s final match, but Ozeki Kotozakura came out on top overall after winning their championship showdown.

Celebrating sumo’s growing global reach, Kotozakura thanked fans for the incredible support, while Hoshoryu signed off in French with a simple promise: “Let’s meet again.”
