Japanese Idol and professional wrestler Haruka Aikawa recently tweeted that she is looking for a contract husband, so if you ever wanted a real-life waifu, this  might be your chance!

In the above tweet Haruka-Chan says that she is looking for an Otaku who would be willing to marry her only “on paper.” In other words, you would be married on an official Japanese registry, but would live separately. Sorry guys….and girls.

But that’s not all. She also says that you would need to provide her support in the amount of $4,000 a month. And just in case you are trying to trick her, she needs to see proof of your monthly salary.

One of the details she provides in this short tweet is that her grandfather is getting old and she would like him to see her in a wedding dress before he dies. That is a really sweet sentiment. Just another reason why she has received quite a few responses already.

So if you are looking for a Japanese waifu, can afford $4,000 a month, and don’t mind living far apart, then this might be the option for you. And who knows, maybe you eventually fall in love with each other. I mean, it sort of sounds like a Japanese drama. Anyone see “Nigeru wa  Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu” (“We Married as a Job”)? This is basically the premise of that J-drama!
