After 27 years, Hokkaido’s beloved travel magazine Hokkaido Good Trip Research Lab has officially reached its final issue—but the journey isn’t over.

Editor Azarashi Tateura says he’s launching a brand-new magazine called Traveling Seal later this year, designed for readers who still love traveling—even if they can’t always hit the road.

The new magazine will focus on the stories behind the journey, unexpected adventures, and the people you meet along the way, turning every issue into a trip you can enjoy from your favorite chair.
