As most folks know by now, Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s President and COO for the last 16 years, has decided to retire on April 15, 2019. The Nintendo community is sad to see him leave, as for years he has been the face of Nintendo and brought a lot of cool moments during his tenure.

But netizens all around the world have found a silver-lining in his departure, and that is that the VP of Sales, Doug Bowser, will be replacing him as the new President of Nintendo of America. And yes, that is his real name. Let that sink in for a minute. The new face of Nintendo of America will be PRESIDENT BOWSER! It looks like Mario is going to have a tough time this year in America, I mean he has to report to Bowser! Haha!
