It looks like I might start cosplaying if I can earn anywhere near as much as Enako can in one year. One of the most popular cosplayers in Japan, Enako, recently announced that she made 30 Million Yen ($277,044 US Dollars) in 2018! That’s quite a bit of money for cosplaying.

Enako is only 24 years old, but is involved in many different cosplay business ventures, which is how she got to 30 Million yen in one year. Some of the ventures she is involved in are as “official cosplayer” for companies, as well as commercials. But self-published photo collections make up 80% of her sales.

So someone find me a cool cosplay fast! I need to make some money.
