All Nippon Airways is known for having some of the best airline services to Japan from the United States, including some of the friendliest staff. But it looks like the Captain of one of today’s ANA flights was trying to relax a bit too much before getting behind the wheel.
According to ANA, as the Captain of ANA Flight 501 from Osaka to Miyazaki, Japan was getting on the plane, the staff could detect a strong odor of alcohol coming from him. They immediately replaced the Captain, but this incident caused a delay of 104 minutes. I’m sure there were plenty of people very upset about this delay, but this type of delay is better than a potential crash, right?
