Saga Prefecture has joined forces with Street Fighter II for the “Street Fighter Saga” promotion.

And who better to be the new tourism ambassador of this event than “Sagat” himself!

Of course, it makes sense to name Sagat the ambassador of the Street Fighter Saga prefecture, but there is a little more to his new title. Saga prefecture has become a tourist attraction for people from Thailand, due to the filming of movies and dramas there. So naming the Muay Thai expert Sagat was a no-brainer.

From January 22 to January 28, 2018, a shop in Ginza will sell some exclusive items related to this promotion.

Such as this porcelain dish with all of the Street Fighter II fighters, with some Saga prefecture items incorporated.

It can be yours for 8,000 yen ($72 US Dollars). And there will be many more items!

Also, the Ginza shop will also be visited by a Sagat mascot, so be prepared for a street fight! Get it? The store can be found here:
