Nintendo has entered the mobile app world in a big way with Miitomo.

It’s a social app that allows you to interact in a very different way. The cool thing about Miitomo is that you create a Mii, and choose what it looks like, what it wears, how it acts, and how it speaks. Then, your Mii will ask you questions and share your answers with all your friends.

If you have a Wii, or know someone who does, then you’ve seen Miis before. Well, now you can take your Mii with you…and it talks!

Miitomo has had over 1 Million downloads since its launch a few days ago. It’s already beaten another uber-popular app in Japan, LINE. I actually have a LINE account, but it looks like I’ll be getting a Miitomo account too.
