Burger King Japan’s One Pounder Challenge: Eat Unlimited Burgers

Burger King Japan knows a regular burger sometimes just isn’t enough—so they created the One Pounder: four patties of pure joy stacked high.

But for the truly unstoppable burger fans with next-level appetites, they’re going all in later this month with an all-you-can-eat One Pounder challenge. Basically… unlimited beefy bliss!

A single Smoke House “One Pounder” already tips the scales at 545g (about 1.2 lbs) and a hefty 1,615 calories—so the name is actually being modest. And if you’re wondering how far that can go… during a past all-you-can-eat promo in Japan, the top eater crushed 11 of them. That’s nearly 6 kg of burgers—about 13 pounds of pure beef-powered dedication!

Burger King Japan is charging ¥4,900 for a 45-minute all-you-can-eat session, while a single Smoke House “One Pounder” costs ¥2,790—so you’d need to eat about 1.75 burgers just to break even. And that’s before factoring in unlimited fries and soft drinks, which makes the deal even more stacked in your favor if you can keep up.

Plus, everyone walks away with goodies: a “One Pounder Challenge 2026” T-shirt, a Burger King towel, and two stickers—so even if you lose, you still win a little.
