As I mentioned in my previous post, JapanSauce.net has been hard at work bringing you some amazing new things, and we are proud to announce that we have started an Artwork Series on Famous Japanese People!

 Our own resident Artist–Julian Davila–has been preparing some great art pieces that I’m sure everyone who loves Japan will recognize. So we hope you enjoy this artwork, as Julian has placed all of his love and skill into these works!

HAYAO MIYAZAKI

Miyazaki-san is the most recognizable Japanese film director, animator, and manga artist, and is known world-wide for his amazing animes, including: Spirited Away; My Neighbor Totoro; Princess Mononoke; The Wind Rises; and many more! He was born in Tokyo, Japan on January 5, 1941, and co-founded the amazing Studio Ghibli.
