A 14-year old Shogi prodigy named Sota Fujii has just set a new record by having a winning streak of 29! The winning match lasted an amazing 11 hours!

This is the longest wining streak in Shogi, beating the previous record set by Hiroshi Kamiya in 1987.

Fujii is participating in the Ryuo Championship finals, where the winner will take home  43.2 million yen ($390,000)! Let’s see if Fujii can keep it going!
