When we last left Urahara Kisuke, he was in a fierce battle with Sternritter Askin Nakk Le Vaar, who has the designation “D”-“The Deathdealing”. We had also seen Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez rip Askin’s heart out of his body. All of this was “predicted” by Urahara.
As we already knew, Urahara is a genius. I mean the kind that understands the movements of planets, as well as life and death. But now we get to see just how amazing his mind really is. And Urahara tells us why he is always so prepared.
And this is why Urahara is such a dangerous person, this is his power. The power to think of 1,000 “what-if” scenarios.
But of course, we can’t forget about Grimmjow…
He has never been a patient person, and didn’t want to hear Askin anymore. Grimmjow is a hot-head, which is part of the reason he is such a cool character. But he always manages to get himself in trouble–which is really why he lost against Ichigo before.
I guess things don’t change, because we learn that Askin isn’t through just yet. It turns out that when he dies the power of his “Gift Ball Deluxe”, that big poison ball they are inside of, magnifies! These Strenritter always have a final hidden talent, something you just can’t predict…well, at least most people couldn’t predict it.
Urahara is not most people. Remember, this is his power, the power to “prepare”. This guy should be a spokesman for staying in school, haha.
But wait. Who is that person outside of the “Gift Ball Deluxe”!? No, it can’t be…
IT IS!!! It’s Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck or “Nel Tu”. She looks amazing as always, and of course she still has a “thing” for Ichigo. C’mon, I can’t be the only one that hoped something would happen between Nel and Ichigo, talk about a power couple.
So this is where we leave Urahara, Grimmjow, and Nel for now, with Nel flying towards the “Gift Ball Deluxe”, just as Urahara predicted. But now the scene switches to another battle, the one between Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya and Sternritter Gerard Valkyrie, with the designation “M”-“The Miracle”. You know, that giant mutated Captain America-looking dude.
Hitsugaya looks like he is in some pretty hot water, though I wasn’t surprised. I mean, when is the last time you’ve seen Hitsugaya actually beat someone powerful on his own? Yeah, this wasn’t happening.
So someone has to come to his aid right…but who?
Captain Byakuya Kuchiki!? Yes, he is back in action, and ready to help. But he and Hitsugaya immediately get into a bit of a fight, because Kuchiki didn’t get Hitsugaya’s joke, haha! This is a nice moment within the battle.
Dang, this issue has so many people already. I mean seriously, I’m already happy with it. So much excitement and cameos, this battle is getting good. Oh yeah, we forgot about the battle, and about that giant sternitter Valkyrie…and Kuchiki and Hitsugaya are so busy talking that they forgot too.
But obviously, someone didn’t forget. This guy NEVER FORGETS. This guy is always ready for war. He lives for it. He dies for it. He is the embodiment of power and strength. A true warrior…….
YES!!! He is back. The one, the only, CAPTAIN KENPACHI ZARAKI! I just lost my mind y’all. This is what I’ve been waiting for, what we have all been waiting for. For this awesome swordsman and powerhouse to be back in the heat of battle. The last time we saw him he was beaten waaaay too quickly, so I’m glad his entrance was in true Zaraki style.
I don’t know about you, but I need to relax a little before my heart explodes. I mean this episode has Urahara telling us about his abilities, the return of Nel, Captain Kuchiki, and then ZARAKI!? I can’t wait until next week’s issue.
So I will see you here next week. I hope you enjoyed this review, and please share with your friends.
